When it comes to find­ing a per­ma­nent addi­tion to our client’s man­age­ment team, we like to take a clear brief, includ­ing an under­stand­ing of the under­ly­ing busi­ness fac­tors and chal­lenges behind the posi­tion. We work with our clients to decide the best approach, which is often a mix­ture of adver­tis­ing, net­work­ing and head­hunt­ing and can all be car­ried out by your client manager.

We work hard to iden­tify suit­able can­di­dates, val­i­dat­ing them through face-to-face inter­view­ing, refer­rals and ref­er­enc­ing. We can also pro­vide addi­tional checks in the process such as psy­cho­me­t­ric testing.

It is impor­tant to us that we deliver what our clients need on time, with con­sis­tently high stan­dards and at rea­son­able cost.

Head­hunt­ing
This is a proac­tive approach to recruit­ment com­pared to the pas­sive approach of adver­tis­ing. It is a pop­u­lar method to use when can­di­dates with appro­pri­ate skills are in short sup­ply: for very senior or spe­cial­ist roles; when few can­di­dates are actively seek­ing work in the mar­ket; and in sit­u­a­tions when a com­pany does not wish its com­peti­tors, cus­tomers or employ­ees to know that it is look­ing to fill a spe­cific position.

Data­base and net­work search
We have an exten­sive net­work of senior can­di­dates who we keep in touch with on a reg­u­lar basis. We also source reli­able refer­rals through our can­di­dates – peo­ple they can rec­om­mend who they trust to be of the right cal­i­bre for our clients.

Adver­tis­ing
We adver­tise most of our roles on tried and tested exec­u­tive recruit­ment sites unless there are sen­si­tiv­i­ties around the posi­tion. This is an addi­tional way of find­ing can­di­dates who might be tak­ing a more pro-active route to find­ing a new role.
