When it comes to finding a permanent addition to our client’s management team, we like to take a clear brief, including an understanding of the underlying business factors and challenges behind the position. We work with our clients to decide the best approach, which is often a mixture of advertising, networking and headhunting and can all be carried out by your client manager.
We work hard to identify suitable candidates, validating them through face-to-face interviewing, referrals and referencing. We can also provide additional checks in the process such as psychometric testing.
It is important to us that we deliver what our clients need on time, with consistently high standards and at reasonable cost.
Headhunting
This is a proactive approach to recruitment compared to the passive approach of advertising. It is a popular method to use when candidates with appropriate skills are in short supply: for very senior or specialist roles; when few candidates are actively seeking work in the market; and in situations when a company does not wish its competitors, customers or employees to know that it is looking to fill a specific position.
Database and network search
We have an extensive network of senior candidates who we keep in touch with on a regular basis. We also source reliable referrals through our candidates – people they can recommend who they trust to be of the right calibre for our clients.
Advertising
We advertise most of our roles on tried and tested executive recruitment sites unless there are sensitivities around the position. This is an additional way of finding candidates who might be taking a more pro-active route to finding a new role.
